Make a date to the hottest show in town when you attend Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma's production of FULLY COMMITTED, running September 21 through October 2 at Lyric's Plaza Theatre. This hilarious one man show, about an overwhelmed reservationist at New York's trendiest restaurant will have Martin Burke playing over 40 characters in 90 minutes.

"Martin is one of the funniest and nicest actors I have had the pleasure to work with," said producing artistic director Michael Baron. "He delighted Lyric's audiences as 'Man in Chair' in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE and 'Felix' in THE ODD COUPLE. It's always a treat having him back in Oklahoma."

Burke is one of Texas's most celebrated performers, with 3 awards from the Austin Chronicle hailing him as Austin's Best Actor. His credits include Lyric's production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, and THE ODD COUPLE, ZACH Theatre's THIS WONDERFUL LIFE and THE SANTALAND DIARIES, and GREATER TUNA with Joe Sears.

FULLY COMMITTED is the story of Sam Peliczowski, an actor by night and a harried reservationist by day for one of the chicest restaurants in Manhattan. All of New York's elite want a table, and all will do whatever it takes- from bribes to histrionics to coercion- to get Sam to put them on the list. Burke will transform in more than three dozen characters, from a French matrie'd to an assistant to the stars, in the course of this one act play.

Tickets are on sale now to FULLY COMMITTED, and start at $31. To purchase tickets, or for further information, visit our website, LyricTheatreOKC.com, or call Lyric's box office at (405) 524-9312.
