An Evening to Benefit CityRep Theatre and to Honor Carveth Osterhaus. The event will celebrate AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, the Opening Production in the CityRep Ninth Season on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Castle Falls (820 N. MacArthur Boulevard).

Our Guests will Enjoy A Buffet Dinner, Courtesy of Castle Falls and A Preview of CityRep's Upcoming Season Featuring the Cast of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY and A Live and Silent Auction and An Evening's Entertainment Honoring Carveth Osterhaus Featuring Renee Anderson with Brian Tidwell and with Guest Appearances by Teri Bibb, Shawn Churchman, John Holly, Donald Jordan, Stacey Logan, Ron Raines, Jonathan Beck Reed, Lara Teeter and Greg White.

Carveth Osterhaus is a proud Oklahoman who, along with his wife Kay, has brough honor to his state and their hometown of Oklahoma City for more than five decades. His unique theatrical talents both as a Director and Performer have been hailed by critics and cheered by audiences throughout our nation. His visionary leadership and contributions to his art and profession include helping found, grow and support many important cultural institutions throughout our state and our nation, including CityRep (Oklahoma City Repertory Theatre), Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Music Theatre of Wichita, the Dallas Theater Center, New York City Opera, and many others. His extraordinary dedication to educating young theater artists and his generosity as a mentor has been exemplified by his years teaching at Oklahoma City University and at the University of Central Oklahoma, where his students have gone on to perform on Broadway, and throughout the professional American Regional Theater in all fifty states as well as in opera, film and television. In recognition of his remarkable artistic and educational legacy, reaching millions of theater audiences around the world through his work and the work of the students he inspired, we are proud to honor Carveth Osterhaus.
