Gara Lonning's first Stand Up Hour is coming to NYC for three nights at Caveat in October! Fresh off his successful 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Run, the show received FOUR STARS from The Scotsman and very favorable reviews. The show was funded by Phoebe Waller Bridge's "Keep It Fringe Fund" and was called "The Greatest Show on Earth" by Alan Cumming. Here is a blurb about the show! This show is a love letter to unique families, queer self-discovery and devoted fathers. This is not a stand up comedy show (performed by reformed stand up comedian Gara Lonning). Based on a true story, Gara takes the audience on an enchanted “Tilt-A-Whirl” by way of his humble Midwestern beginnings and NYC “comedy bro” upbringing. This show is a blast into another comedic dimension entirely complete with musical numbers, dancing wrestlers and electric-1980s camp.
