“Follow your heart” to URINETOWN THE MUSICAL presented by the Berry College Theatre Company! This hilarious show is directed by Hannah Hammond and is brought together by the creative team of scenic designer Seamus Bourne, costume designer Alice Bristow, music direction under Alejandro Gutierrez, and choreography by Heather Gault. This moving show with deep meanings is one to not miss.
In this Tony-winning musical set in the not-so-distant future, a terrible water shortage and a 20-year drought has led to a government ban on private toilets and a proliferation of paid public toilets. If the poor don’t obey the strict laws prohibiting free urination, they’ll be sent to the dreaded and mysterious “Urinetown”. URINETOWN is a wickedly funny, fast-paced, and surprisingly intelligent comedic romp through a revolt by those who truly believe that it’s “a privilege to pee”.
Join us on this eye-opening journey February 22-25 and March 1-4 in the brand new Sisters Theatre at Berry College. Shows are at 7:30 pm Thursdays through Saturdays and at 2 pm on Sundays.
