Twelfth Night: 1941 is Shakespeare's classic comedy of mirth and melancholy, set as a play within a play against the backdrop of WWII London at the height of the Blitz. Inspired by true events, the action unfolds on January 5th, 1941, when a theatre troupe is forced to relocate their production of Twelfth Night to a local pub after their theatre is destroyed. Directed and written by Ellyn Heald, with music by Will Healy, the production is presented by Living Room Productions, an independent theatre company founded by graduates of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
