BACON
Written by Sophie Swithinbank, directed by Matthew Iliffe, produced by Hannah Farley Hills of HFH Productions
Following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the multi-award winning play comes to New York.
Bacon is an unflinching and unexpectedly humorous look at masculinity, sexuality and power, through the dizzying lens of youth.
Winner of the Tony Craze Award and three Off-West End Awards in London for Best Director and Best Performance in a Play.
“'Fascinating, beautifully written... Both actors deliver excellent, finely-tuned performances. They’re in tears by the end of the show—and so will you” - Playbill
“Utterly compelling… beautiful and devastating to watch” - The Stage
"You will laugh, you will cry and you will be breathless when you leave" - Everything Theatre
Bacon contains depictions of physical and sexual violence, references to self-harm and abuse, haze and strobe lighting.
