Evan Goldman is about to turn 13 and he knows that being a geek is the loneliest thing in the world! When he has to move from New York City to Appleton, Indiana, after his parents' divorce, he must try to walk the delicate balance between his true friends and the cool kids that he wants so desperately to come to his upcoming Bar Mitzvah.
