Patrick Nash Presents New Musical BEULAH LAND

Coming soon to the Lower East Side: Patrick Nash presents "Beulah Land."
A hallucinatory musical about free enterprise, LIVE NUDE GIRLS, and a stripper's journey to health and wellness.
Beulah Land is a gritty social comedy that takes place in Times Square and the Lower East Side of New York in the eighties. The story follows Johnny and Ginger, an unlikely couple who are trying to navigate an ever-changing cultural landscape. They're aided in their journey by the mythical tribute band Prawnbath; a group that pays homage to every East Village performance artist that ever sat in a bar dreaming of fame, while never actually performing. (Or even learning to play musical instruments). Free enterprise, depravity, and hope all blend together in this hallucinatory musical which opens this Summer.
Directed by Jay Stern and musical directed by Logan Medland, the show stars Cali Elizabeth Moore*, Zuri Washington*, Peter Reid Lambert, Kara White, Olivia Rubbo, Josh Powell*, Mike Timoney*, Walter Winston Oneil*, Rebecca Tyree, and Charlotte Athanasidy. Featuring choreography by Lorna Ventura, lighting design by Seth Reiser, production design by Lauren Page Russell, and stage management by Leah Montesinos.
Performances will take place at the 122 Community Center 2nd Floor Theatre, at 150 First Avenue in the East Village, New York, NY. The show runs 8PM Thursday, 8/8, Friday, 8/9, and Saturday, 8/10.
Runtime is approximately 90 minutes (there will be no intermission.)
