The Upright Citizen's Brigade Presents 2PAC: THE MUSICAL! April 26

The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre will present 2PAC: THE MUSICAL! in a special presentation on April 26 at 9:30pm at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre in New York City.

2PAC: THE MUSICAL! is a parody jukebox musical that gives new life to the most popular songs of Tupac Shakur, Written by Kevin DeBacker and Evan Greenspoon, the show features direction by Chris Kelly, musical direction by Elias Ravin and choreography by Jonathan Hoover. The cast features Kevin DeBacker, Evan Greenspoon, Corey Johnson and Laura Zeis.

Kevin DeBacker has studyed under UCBT teachers such as Lennon Parham, Eric Scott, Joe Wengert, Charlie Todd, Chris Gethard, Eric Drysdale, and Anthony King. He currently teaches "How To Fung sei your love life" and "How to Order Drinks Like A Bartender" at howcast.com. He performs improv around NYC with his 3 person indie team, Pump It Up!

Evan Greenspoon grew up in West Virginia and graduated from NYU. He's studied improv at UCB with Zach Woods, Gavin Speiller, Joe Wengert, and Will Hines. He's also been involved with indie improv teams Snow Day, Sadie Hawkins, and The Lash.

The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre or UCB Theatre is an improvisational theatre and associated Training Center with locations in Chelsea, New York, and Hollywood, California. The theater was founded by Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, and Ian Roberts, a group of comedians who perform as the Upright Citizens Brigade. The troupe had a show on Comedy Central from 1998 to 2000 and were originally trained by Del Close at Chicago's ImprovOlympic.

2PAC: THE MUSICAL will be performed on April 26 at 9:30pm at the Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, located at 307 West 26th Street between 8th and 9th Ave. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Box Office on the day of the performance or reserved in advance online at http://newyork.ucbtheatre.com/shows/2201.
