The Tank Will Present VEINTICINCO - A MYTH OF THE BRAIN
![]()
The Tank will present Veinticinco (a myth of the brain) created by Isabella Uzcátegui @the 98-seat theatre.
"Four voices share a story of the brain. To be Latinx is to exist in a contradictory state: to live in a language but feel in another, to dream in one body but move in the other."
Veinticinco is an investigation of identity through language across all its forms. It's an attempt to communicate and give structure to that which has no structure, because it exists in movement, memories, dreams, and song.
How do we make sense of dreams? Of memories? Of language? The chaos of the human experience is reduced to the electrical synapses and neural pathways. Our lives are based on the myth of a brain. Veinticinco shares another side of the story.
Veinticinco will take place on Tuesday, March 10th and Wednesday, March 11th, at 9.30pm at the renowned, non-profit producing and presenting venue The Tank located at 312 West 36th Street, New York. Tickets are 15$.
