The Pretenders & Caborca Theatre will present PEN KNIFE, written by Christopher Richards directed by Javierantonio González, at The Living Theatre, May 6-15, 2010.

PEN KNIFE is the story of the poets Arthur Rimbaud & Paul Verlaine - two French deviants who wrote like angels. Rimbaud, a god of adolescence, lures a self-destructive older poet from his pregnant wife, setting up an explosive romantic triangle. But when Verlaine accepts a Faustian pact to join Rimbaud in a desperate effort to create art that no one has seen before, the consequences of living without rules devours their lives.

Featured in the cast of this AEA Approved Showcase Production are Michael Barringer, Melinda Helfrich* and David Skeist*. Scenic Designer is Jian Jung, Lighting Designer is Dans Maree Sheehan & Costume Designer is Oana Botez -Ban.

PEN KNIFE will run May 6 through 15, 2010.  Performances begin at 8pm.  The Living Theatre is located at 21 Clinton Street (between E. Houston & Stanton).  Tickets are $18.00 for general admission, $12 for seniors and students.  For reservations call 1-800-838-3600 or visit www.brownpapertickets.com.
