Photo Flash: A Look at JCS Theater's HOLY MOLY at The Flea Theater
JCS Theater Company's Production of Holy Moly @ The Flea Theater in New York City debuts (next week) on August 3rd. BroadwayWorld has your first look at the production below!
Holy Moly follows four young women behaving badly in New York City. The play's debut is accompanied by the release of Shore's first novel, A Country for Fibbing. The synergy between Holy Moly and A Country for Fibbing is found when the novel's central character writes Holy Moly. The entire play is literally in the novel; it's essential to the novel's narrative.
The debut and simultaneous release of Holy Moly and A Country for Fibbing, an innovative multi-media experience, marks the first time a play with a correlating novel have been simultaneously released in the United States.
Jake Shore, an adjunct English professor at New York City's Wagner College, won the Overall Excellence in Playwriting Award at the 2013 New York International Fringe Festival for his play entitled Down the Mountain and Across the Stream.
