The New York Neo-Futurists release two tracks from their new Nerdcore musical YOU ARE IN AN OPEN FIELD. Two songs from the show, I'm The Boss and Do It, are available on SoundCloud at the direct link http://soundcloud.com/ny-neo-futurists/sets/music-from-you-are-in-an-open.

YOU ARE IN AN OPEN FIELD is a video game inspired, hip-hop comedy. With high punches like Super Mario, New York Neo-Futurists deconstruct the gaming experience and its relationship to individual identity. With inspiration from classic computer and Nintendo, the NY Neo's power up to ask the questions, “What are the games we play? Why do we play them? Who makes the rules?” That's several levels of awesome!

The show is written by Kevin R. Free, Eevin Hartsough, Marta Rainer and Adam Smith. Music by the Neo-Futurists' frequent collaborator Carl Riehl who will be leading a live hip hop band. Christopher Dippel directs.
