Mischievous musical comedy duo MEL & EL are back from maternity leave with a brand new edition of their raucous monthly extravaganza, MEL & EL: OUR TIME OF THE MONTH, at 92YTribeca, 200 Hudson Street, NYC tonight, May 10th at 7:00PM.

Created and performed by funny femmes Melanie Kinard and Ellie Dvorkin with composer Patrick Spencer Bodd, MEL & EL: OUR TIME OF THE MONTH is like a modern-day Laverne & Shirley full of dirty songs, delightful banter and devilish dish. MEL & EL features new material every single month along with a very special guest, phenomenal food and drink deals, and a generous dose of the in-your-crotch comedy.

Chock full of new material inspired by the birth of Mel’s baby and the end of El’s never-ending dating saga, this month’s show will feature original songs like “Antibacterial Everything”, “Gay Boat”, and “Judging You”, plus the return of the wacky Woman Commercials.

MEL & EL have quickly become an NYC cult phenomenon. They enjoyed a year-long run of the critically acclaimed MEL & EL: THIS SHOW RHYMES, while their second show, MEL & EL: SHOW AND TELL premiered at Ars Nova to rave reviews. MEL & EL: GAY MARRIED headlined at Comix NYC and culminated in the pair being chosen as one of the Village Voice’s Best of New York.
