On Friday, December 15, celebrated Lebanese-American tenor Amine Hachem will return to the NYC concert stage with a one-night-only holiday musical event, “Christmas With Amine Hachem: A Global Musical Tale” at 7:30PM in Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center (129 W 67th Street, NYC.). Tickets, priced from $80 to $150, are available at the Kaufman Music Center, box office, or by visiting www.kaufmanmusiccenter.org. “Christmas With Amine Hachem” is presented by Clairemine Entertainment, in collaboration with John Paul II Church, Sleepy Hollow, NY.

Prepare to be part of an unconventional holiday concert, “Christmas With Amine Hachem” is a global music tale that transcends borders, drawing inspiration from Amine's diverse life experiences across Lebanon, the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Infused with Hachem's distinctive Franco-Arabic perspective, this musical celebration intertwines cherished Christmas classics with a rich tapestry of Opera, Jazz, Latin, American Pop, Western European Classical melodies, European & Arabic Classical, and Folk music. Conducted by Brian Holman, featuring a choir, chamber orchestra, and big band, promising various delightful surprises.

The multi-lingual musical program will include traditional holiday classics in English (“Joy To The World,” “Hark The Herald Angels Sing,” Silent Night, and “Jingle Bells”), Latin (“Ave Maria”), French (“Petit Papa Noël”), Aramaic (“New York Premiere of the “Lord’s Prayer,” “Abun D’bashmayo”), Russian and Ukrainian (“Carol of the Bells,” “Trepak” from Nutcracker) and Arabic (“Imani Sate”).

Amine says, 'In these turbulent times, I believe in the power of music to bring joy and hope. As a young Middle Eastern-American artist, I hope to foster unity and bridge cultural divides through the universal language of music.' Reflecting on his upbringing in Lebanon, he reminisces, 'Christmas was the festive season that unified people from diverse cultures. Every household had its own Christmas tree, drawing expatriates from around the globe to partake in the celebrations. We joyously sang holiday melodies from various cultural traditions—American, Lebanese, Latin, French, Italian, Russian, and British.' Amine vividly paints his Lebanese 'White Christmas' as a picturesque view of snow-capped mountains overlooking the stunning Mediterranean coast. He warmly invites audiences to join in this musical journey, offering a glimpse into his most cherished time of the year."
