![]()
Beginning on Wednesday, February 26th at 8:00 PM, NEXT THING YOU KNOW, written by Drama-Desk nominated writing duo Joshua Salzman and Ryan Cunningham (I Love You Because) will be returning to New York City with a production at TriBeca's Access Theater (380 Broadway, 4th Floor, NY)
The production led by Head Producer Franco Castronuovo, will mark the New York musical directorial debut of Lola Lopez Guardone. Originally hailing from Argentina , Guardone was last seen directing Megan Smith's Silent Movie Dreams as a part of New York City SummerFest 2019.
NEXT THING YOU KNOW tells the story of four 20-somethings living in New York City while trying to answer some of life's biggest questions through love, friendship, and many glasses of beer. While the life we're living might not be everything we hoped, is it possible that our dreams can shift and change to something we never expected? How do we let go of our old expectations and pursue what we now find ourselves wanting? These questions and more are explored through Salzman and Cunningham's clever and heartfelt story.
This production will feature performances by Maria Becco, Samantha Blinn, Emiliano Cuesta, and Juan Martin Gimenez Medrano. The creative team includes Laura Zawarski (Musical Direction), Ivana Uman (Vocal Direction) and Maria Becco (Associate Producer).
The band will include Laura Zawarski (Violin), Sean Andrews (Piano), JP Bernabe (Bass), Martin Levallois (Guitar) and Violet Tsu-Hsuan Wang (Cello).
NEXT THING YOU KNOW was originally produced in 2011 at CAP21. Since its premiere, there have been productions nationwide, as well in Paris, France in 2015, produced by American Musical Theatre Live. In 2019, the show was developed into a three-part audio musical.
Performances will run from February 26th through March 1st. For ticket information, please visit:
