September 10th, the Equilateral Theatre Company will present a staged reading of Mother of Mine, a new comedy by Broadway performer Erin Leigh Peck (Brighton Beach Memoirs, Grease, Dance of the Vampires).  The show, based on a true story, will be directed by Broadway veteran Timothy Smith (Aida, Sweet Charity).  The reading will take place at the June Havoc Theatre in the Abingdon Theatre Arts Complex.

The presentation stars Stephanie Kurtzuba (Mary Poppins, The Boy from Oz), Peter McCaine (Approaching Union Square), Cheryl Stern (The Women), Adam Heller (Caroline, or Change), Jamison Stern (Little Shop of Horrors), Carla Woods (All Shook Up), Mellisa Dye (Into the Woods), Amber Kain (One True Thing) and Trisha Rapier (The Boy from Oz).

"A no-holds barred journey that can be appreciated by men and women alike.  It's filled with the kind of grit and comedy that makes a new show interesting. Mother of Mine is one show to keep an eye on," said Robert Diamond, Editor-in-Chief of BroadwayWorld.com.

The Equilateral Theatre Company is proud to be launching its premier season with the debut of this new work.  ETC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing thought-provoking works that are accessible to a mainstream audience.
