"The Bobbed-Haired Bandit," a new musical comedy from composer Brittany Bonney and bookwriter/ lyricist Anna Marquardt, will be presented at the New York International Fringe Festival, held August 12-28 at The Bleecker Theater, 45 Bleecker Street (at Lafayette Street).
"The Bobbed-Haired Bandit" will play five performances only: Sat. 8/13 at 9:30PM, Tues. 8/16 at 9:30PM, Sat. 8/20 at 9:30PM, Tues. 8/23 at 3:45PM, Sat. 8/27 at 5:15PM. Their solution? Rob a grocery store. And another. And another. They never meant to go on a crime spree, but once they're in, it's hard to get out. An all-female ensemble plays everyone else, from their victims to the cops to the press.Featuring: Katlyn Carlson (Dirty Dancing Nat'l Tour), Chase Burnett, Jen Eden, Tracie Franklin, Stephanie Holser, Ariana Shore, Jennifer Wren, and Melissa Zimmerman.
