Friends Always Creating Theatre (F.A.C.T.) in assocation with Joria Productions is excited to announce the final shows of their 2nd Season to be presented in repertory May 13-22 at Joria Studios,260 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, under the umbrella title, "Page To Stage".

Two full-length plays which have been developed through the Page To Stage Wednesday Workshops will now be mounted as full-scale productions for five performance each. The plays will be Penny Jackson's "Booze In The Boroughs" and Jack Dyville's "Uff'da".

Ms. Jackson, a FACT member and regularly featured playwright with the group has connected 5 short plays into one evening of entertainment. Ms Jackson has had her novel selected as the Best Book by the New York Public Library and has received the MacDowell Colony Fellowship and Pushcart Prize for her short story LA CHILD. She says that Booze in the Boroughs answers the question of, "what do five bottles of Stolichnaya vodka, a Russian scientist, and a NYC snowstorm have in common?" As an audience member, you will see the relation as she takes you to each of the five boroughs in these interlocking stories of compassion, love and sometimes hilarious circumstance. The plays include; "Wally In Central Park" (Manhattan), " A Staircase at the Ritz" (Bronx) "The Belle of Staten Island" (S.I.), "Stoli Santa" (Brooklyn), "Last Call" (Queens). Set in Fargo North Dakota UFF'DA is called a "screwball comedy about Red Hat Ladies, Naughty Nuns and Marie Osmond!" It tells the story of three little old ladies, who are part of 5 yellow school buses filled with little old ladies from the South Central Evangelical Lutheran Ladies Conference of Western North Dakota who travel across the Rough Rider state to see a performance of Marie Osmond in 'The Sound of Music" only to find when they arrive, there is no performance of 'The Sound of Music' and no Marie Osmond! Instead, the theatre is featuring a live performance of the 4th National Bus & Truck Company, in "Bedroom Bedlam". From there hilarity, highjinx and plenty of laughter is in store for FACT Audiences.
