Creating a one-woman show is a long and arduous process. It requires passion, purpose, determination, and a strong heart. What is the process? How long does it take? What are the thousand decisions that go into the selection of subject matter and materials? What kind of team do you need in place to achieve your goals?

Meet Susan Campanaro, long time sensation in the New York City nightlife scene. An accomplished actress and singer, Susan has created the larger than life persona of "Lavinia Draper." Missing Person, the musical based on Lavinia's life, with a book by Campanaro, original songs by Lynn Portas, and direction by Christopher Scott, is the boozy story of a fallen socialite and one-time understudy to Broadway star Betty Buckley. We watch the eternally optimistic Lavinia stumble and get up again as she chases her dream of becoming an entertainer.

The Amas Song Salon series, from New York's award-winning Amas Musical Theatre, is designed to present up-close and personal soirees celebrating the Broadway songbook and some of its brightest talents in a relaxed environment. Intimate, entertaining and informative.
