THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES Offers 'Kids-For-Free' Performances

The Marvelous Wonderettes invites families to join in on the fun and celebrate the holidays at the Westside Theatre, by offering complimentary tickets to children 16 years of age or younger.

Beginning this past Wednesday, December 10 through Monday, December 22, adults who purchase a regularly-priced ticket (through the special code MAKIDS01) to see The Marvelous Wonderettes (redeemable for dates December 22 to January 4) are eligible to receive a free ticket for an accompanying child.

Written and directed by Roger Bean, The Marvelous Wonderettes began previews on August 29, 2008 and the show celebrated its Official Opening on September 14. With its infectious music, colorful costumes, and tale of four prom queen hopefuls, The Marvelous Wonderettes offers something for all ages.

Brimming with classics from the 50's and beyond such as "Lollipop," "Dream Lover," and "Lipstick on Your Collar," The Marvelous Wonderettes is a sensational musical blast from the past. The New York Times calls The Marvelous Wonderettes "an utter charm" while Variety states, "All four (performers) are incredible singers and gifted comedians."

The Marvelous Wonderettes features Farah Alvin, Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock.

This production includes Set Design by Michael Carnahan, Costume and Wig Design by Bobby Pearce, Lighting Design by Jeremy Pivnick, Sound Design by Cricket S. Myers, Musical Direction by Michael Borth and Choreography by Janet Miller and is presented by David Elzer, Peter Schneider and Marvelous NYC, LLC.
