SHOWGIRLS! THE MUSICAL! Extends Off-Broadway Through Feb 2014

Showgirls! The Musical!, the musical parody of the cult classic film Showgirls, has extended its run through February 2014. Performances will be held Wednesdays at 8pm. All seats at all performances are $25.

Showgirls! The Musical! follows the beautiful drifter with a secret past, Nomi, as she journeys from stripper to showgirl in Las Vegas. What will Nomi sacrifice on her rise to fame? Who will she sleep with along the way? Will she ever like brown rice and vegetables?

Showgirls! The Musical! is written and directed by Bob and Tobly McSmith, whose Bayside! The Musical!, the hit parody of Saved By The Bell, is also playing at Theatre 80.

The cast of Showgirls! The Musical! features April Kidwell as Nomi Malone, Rori Nogee as Cristal Connors, John Duff as Kyle MacLachlan, Marcus Desion as Molly/James and Philip McLeod as Gay with Amanda Nicholas and Natalie Wagner as the Showgirls.

Showgirls! The Musical! features book, music, lyrics and direction by Bob and Tobly McSmith (Bayside! The Musical!, JonBenet! Murder Mystery Theater!). Scenic design is by Bryan Hartlett (Bayside! The Musical!). Costume design is by Marcus Desion (Bayside! The Musical!). Lighting design is by Adam Lash (Bayside! The Musical!). Showgirls! The Musical! is produced by John Capo and MediumFace Productions.

Performances will be held on Wednesdays at 8pm. A full bar is available before each performance. Special DOUBLE FEATURE passes are available for purchase for $40. DOUBLE FEATURE passes include a ticket to Showgirls! The Musical! and Bayside! The Musical! on either the same night or two different nights.
