LCT3/Lincoln Center Theater will present STOP HITTING YOURSELF, created by Rude Mechs, directed by Shawn Sides and written Kirk Lynn. Featuring: Thomas Graves, Heather Hanna, Joey Hood, Hannah Kenah, Lana Lesley, E. Jason Liebrecht and Pail Soileau.

Part Pygmalion, part Busby Berkley, part self-help lexicon, Stop Hitting Yourself borrows from the plots of 1930's musicals to dig deep into the contemporary conservative dilemma: how to honor steely individualism without disavowing the virtue of charity -- all the while tap-dancing around a queso fountain. Commissioned by LCT3, Stop Hitting Yourself is a world premiere.

Previews begin Wednesday, January 15. Opening is slated for Monday, January 27 at 7pm at the Claire Tow Theater, 150 West 65 Street. Performance schedule: Monday and Wednesday through Sunday evenings at 7pm; Matinees Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.

Tickets: $20 for all performances are available at the Lincoln Center Theatre box office, on-line at Telecharge.com or by visiting www.lct3.org.
