F.O.M.O. To Return To New York City For Limited May Engagement

After the incredible reception of its Off-Broadway debut at Theatre Row, F.O.M.O. returns to New York City stages for a second run, with four performances in May.

F.O.M.O. began with Juan Pablo Mendive's idea of creating a new type of theatre that explores modern themes relevant to our society. He wanted to bring to the stage something rarely discussed in the theatre industry, especially at a time when Bitcoin was reaching all-time highs (around $100k). Drawing inspiration from a real-life story-the Dogecoin Millionaire-he created a fantasy world that moves between reality and the abstract. This vision came to life through the creative collaboration and performance of Jonas Kobberdall, who played the lead role during its run last year at Theatre Row.

Now, with a new cast and in a new theatre, F.O.M.O. returns reimagined. Pascal Vargas takes on the lead role of Enoch, featuring Jonathan Florez as The Mask. Produced by Jaime de Lara and directed by Juan Pablo Mendive, this show takes the audience on a journey through ambition, greed, self-growth, faith, and the liberation from the modern "9 to 5" slavery lifestyle.

This production does not take sides, not out of indecision, but to present multiple perspectives, allowing the audience to interpret its meaning for themselves. Also, the show dives into a question that mass media is trying to answer nowadays: "Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? Who created Bitcoin?"

F.O.M.O. is not only for people who already know about this type of currency and technology, but it also aims to inform audiences who don't know much about this world, giving them a deeper understanding of Bitcoin, blockchain, and the cryptocurrencies universe.

The show will be staged from May 10th to 13th at The Tank Theatre. A link to purchase tickets is provided below.
