Due to a cast member's availability, Balls…the Musical? which opened a limited Off-Broadway engagement on December 7 at The Lion Theatre on Theatre Row (410 W. 42nd St.), will end its run one week early through Sunday, December 18.

Greeted with enthusiastic response from critics and audiences alike, from its sold-out and extended run at the 2011 New York Musical Theatre Festival to its Off-Broadway run, Balls…the Musical?, has good seats for the remaining performances on December 15 and 16 at 8pm; December 17 at 7pm and 9:30pm; and December 18 at 7pm.

Billed as an "unruly quintet of testosterone-laden performers," Balls… is the creation of musical theatre veterans Bret Carr, Mick Bonde (Show Choir – NYMF), Brandon Ellis (Company), Michael "Tuba" McKinsey (Civil War – Ford's Theatre), and Nick Verina (Young Ben in Follies), who describe the "not so politically correct world" of the modern-day straight man in musical theatre.

Directed by Kasey Marino, Balls…the Musical? features original NYMF cast members Mick Bonde, Bret Carr, Brandon Ellis, and Will Ray (Little House on the Prairie – National Tour). Joining the company is two-time Emmy Award-winner (Bad Street and In the Eyes of God) Nikkieli DeMone.
The creative team includes Sonny Paladino (music director), Abby Lee (choreographer/assistant director), Timothy Parrish (lighting design), and Jessica Paz (sound design). Joshua Pilote is production stage manager. Brierpatch Productions is general manager for the production. Balls…the Musical? is produced by Blue Balls Inc. in Association with JAKK Productions.
