BOYS NIGHT at 'The Marvelous Wonderettes' 11/19

The Marvelous Wonderettes, the show that has audiences leaping to their feet nightly at the Westside Theatre, proudly announces a special Boys Night performance on Wednesday, November 19 at 8:00 PM. Immediately following the show, patrons who have purchased specially priced Boys Night tickets can continue the celebration at Vlada beginning at 10:15 PM (331 West 51 Street) with a 90–minute open bar (beer, wine, well drinks, and soda). Written and directed by Roger Bean, The Marvelous Wonderettes began previews on August 29, 2008 and the show celebrated its Official Opening on September 14.

The New York Times calls The Marvelous Wonderettes “an utter charm” while Variety states, “All four (performers) are incredible singers and gifted comedians.”

A cotton-candy colored non-stop pop musical comedy, The Marvelous Wonderettes features iconic sounds of the fifties and beyond. Brimming with such classics as “Lollipop,” “Dream Lover,” and “Lipstick on Your Collar,” The Marvelous Wonderettes is a musical blast from the past.

The Marvelous Wonderettes features Farah Alvin, Beth Malone, Bets Malone and Victoria Matlock. This production includes Set Design by Michael Carnahan, Costume and Wig Design by Bobby Pearce, Lighting Design by Jeremy Pivnick, Sound Design by Cricket S. Myers, Musical Direction by Michael Borth and Choreography by Janet Miller and is presented by David Elzer, Peter Schneider and Marvelous NYC, LLC.

The Marvelous Wonderettes will play as follows at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street): Monday through Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at 8:00 PM, with matinee performances on Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday at 3:00 PM.
