WENDY'S SHADOW, with book by Jason Cannon and music & lyrics by David Maglione & Tomas Ruiz, will be presented in a one-night-only concert at Theater 3 tonight, July 24, 2015 at 8 p.m. as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Directed by Amy Shera, with musical direction by Andy Peterson.

Reprising her role as grown-up Wendy Darling (the narrator) will be Jessica Hendy. WENDY'S SHADOW had its world premiere at the Irvington Town Hall Theatre in November of 2014, where it was featured in their Stage Door Series, followed by a February 2015 concert at The Cutting Room in NYC.

Joining Hendy at NYMF will be much of the original cast from both readings, including Spencer Kiely (Peter Pan), Monet Julia Sabel (Tinker Bell), Ambe Williams (Nibs) and Julie Galorenzo (Smee). Also featured are Danny Arnold (Captain Hook), Chris Frazier (Curly) and Mike Schwitter (Slightly).

Per press notes, "The mischievous and magical adventure of Peter Pan is retold from Wendy's modern-day perspective with a contemporary folk/rock score. With Book by Jason Cannon and Music and Lyrics by David Maglione & Tomas Ruiz, WENDY'S SHADOW takes the audience back to Neverland -- where dreams are born, and time is never planned -- and asks if it's ever possible to leave the one you loved."
