november 26, 1942 was 532 Jewish prisoners brought on board the Danube. On the pier were the Norwegian poet Gunvor Hofmo. Her Jewish friend Ruth Maier was sent by ship.
The National Theatre has secured the rights to make theatre about one of the great friendships in Norwegian literature. TWIN SOULS created by the team behind UNDSET and based on Jan Erik Violence documentary books.
