Oslo Quartet Series at Kulturkirken Jakob

Oslo Quartet Series is a new concert series which focuses on the string quartet. It is the first of its kind in Norway.

The string quartet plays an important part in the chamber music repertoire, with composers like Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert Brahms and Bartók being central contributors. Many composers have written their most intimate and profound works for string quartet. Some of these are now performed by internationally renowned ensembles at Oslo Militære Samfund.
