"Honor Earth Month with members of a variety of Native American Nations and your local Nansemond Nation. Chief Keith Anderson leads Red Crooked Sky in this music, dance, and fashion exploration of Indigenous culture and our critical ties to the earth as fellow inhabitants. This collaborative mix of American Indians are each dedicated to educating and promoting positive cultural awareness through traditional and contemporary dance. Based in Southeastern Virginia, they represent an array of tribes – Cherokee, Sioux, Meherrin, Osage, Pamunkey, Seneca, Monacan, and others. The multi-generational group invites audiences to experience the traditions of the past and present as they take you on a spiritual and emotional journey like no other!"
