Sister Act features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, a book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, and additional material by Douglas Carter Beane. When disco diva Deloris Van Cartier witnesses a crime, she is placed in protective custody in a convent, where she transforms the struggling church choir with her powerhouse voice and infectious spirit. The production is a feel-good musical comedy celebrating friendship, faith, and the power of finding your voice. An additional Pride Night performance on July 30th will support Hampton Roads Pride, LGBT Life Center, and Stonewall Sports Norfolk.
