VCUarts Theatre presents Let the Right One In by Jack Thorne, a supernatural thriller adapted from the bestselling novel and award winning film. Oskar is a bullied, lonely teenage boy living in 1980’s rural Virginia, when a series of sinister killings rocks his small community. Eli is the young girl who has just moved in next door. She doesn’t go to school and never leaves the apartment by day. Sensing in each other a kindred spirit, the two become devoted friends. What Oskar doesn’t know is that Eli has been a teenager for a very long time. Expect a surprisingly sweet and tender story with moments of gruesome violence and bloodshed. “Will wring your heart while scaring the mortal stuffing out of you.” – The New York Times
