Wolfbane Productions Announces Cast of BUBBLE BOY

The cast will be led by Andy Spencer (Legally Blonde, Shrek, Bring It On) as the title role, Gabrielle Mirabella (Mamma Mia, Elf) as 'Mrs. Livingston', Melanie Brook (TV's The Knick) as 'Chloe', Jacob Dickey (Mamma Mia) as 'Slim', and VA favorite, Hubbard Farr as 'Mark'. The company will also be joined by James Vesey Potter, Jeff Price, Bev Owens, Kyle Blanchard, Kelly Malone Dudley, Bryan Paul Kopsitz, Marianne Virnelson, and Lindsay Kirkland.

Directed by Wolfbane's award-winning Artistic Director Dustin Williams, this production will be fun for the whole family, with musical direction by DaShay Glover, costume design by Christine Yepsen, lighting and sound design by Sophie Freshwater, and stage managed by Em Terlizzi.

Bubble Boy the Musical has a book by Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio, music and lyrics by Cinco Paul; the musical is based on the 2001 Touchstone Pictures' film Bubble Boy starring Jake Gyllenhaal. Paul and Daurio are the creators of such Hollywood Blockbusters as Despicable Me, The Lorax, Horton Hears a Who, and the upcoming The Secret Life of Pets among others. The prestigious writers will be joining the cast in Appomattox in September to speak with patrons and students.
