Minnesota's own children's musicians, The Teddy Bear Band, will perform at the Alden Theatre at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Tickets are $14/$10 for McLean district residents. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

The Teddy Bear Band was started in 1985 by early childhood teacher Richard Alan and some of his students' musical fathers. The band performs with a simple goal in mind-to entertain, inspire and support children, families and educators. Playing children's music in a developmentally appropriate manner, the group places an emphasis on audience participation. Children are encouraged to come with their teddy bears and to be prepared to sing along. This show is recommended for children ages three and older.
