Swift Creek Mill Theatre Introduces Sunday Brunch

By:

Swift Creek Mill Theatre Introduces Sunday Brunch ImageFor over 50 years, the kitchen at Swift Creek Mill Theatre has been turning out comfort food on filling buffets for hungry theatre goers. Now the historic venue is taking sustenance a step further by offering Sunday Brunch, Swift Creek style.

Sunday Brunch at the Mill will entice diners with savory and sweet breakfast foods and signature cocktails. Food and Beverage Manager Andrea Huntjens will feature fresh scrambled eggs, smoky bacon and sausage, smashed potatoes, and a decadent waffle bar, along with some other seasonal goodies, including donuts from Petersburg's own Buttermilk Bake Shop. Green salad or soup, bread basket, and dessert are also part of the fare.

"The idea is to create food that is simply delicious and allows people to leave full and happy," said Huntjens.

Managing Director Steven Koehler added, "We look forward to welcoming guests into our beautiful, historic Mill Room for the finest brunch in South Chesterfield. Walk-in customers are welcome, and reservations are available."

In honor of Veterans' Day, veterans will eat for only $11 at the Sunday Brunch Grand Opening on November 11. Sunday Brunch will open to the public beginning October 28 and continue every Sunday from 10:30 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. Reservations are recommended.

Swift Creek Mill is one of the oldest registered landmarks in the nation and is home to historic Swift Creek Mill Theatre, a not-for-profit that has been providing Central and Southside Virginia professional performing arts for over 50 years.
