It's a Wonderful Life, the radio play is a 'play within a play,' set at a radio station in the late 1940s, with the theater audience playing the studio audience. The radio actors have been working together for some time, performing sound effects and playing from two to fifteen parts each, including several commercials with jingles.

There are five roles-two women and three men. One woman should be mid-to-late twenties, the other roles have no set ages, however all actors must be able to create voices for characters ranging in age from 5 to 80. They sometimes will have dialogue with themselves and need to be able to carry a tune for radio jingles. This play will be a fun challenge of your acting talents!

Auditions will be cold readings from the script, no parts are pre-cast. This production will be directed by Shayne Gardner and produced by Columba Hoban and Beth Doyle.

An adaptation by Joe Landry of the film It's a Wonderful Life, the story revolves around George Bailey, a good man in financial crisis who believes everyone would be better off if he were dead. Through the intervention of his guardian angel Clarence, he realizes that, though he may not have wealth, he is rich with the love and friendship of his family and community.
