The Provincetown Theater Holds Open Auditions
for Classic Comedy “You Can’t Take It with You” Jan 12, 13, 14, 2018

The Provincetown Theater will hold open auditions for their 2018 spring production of Kaufman & Hart’s 1937 Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy “You Can’t Take It with You” on January 12 from 6-9pm, and on January 13 and 14 from 2-6pm. Auditions will take place at the Provincetown Theater, 238 Bradford Street, Provincetown, MA 02657.

Directed by the theater’s new Artistic Director David Drake, the show will begin rehearsals the first week in April (in accommodation with actors work schedules). The production is set to open May 17 for a three-weekend run (Thurs - Sun) to June 3, 2018.

A cast of 17 actors is needed, all roles are open. Characters range in age from men and women in the 20s thru 70s. A non-union production, each actor will be paid a $200 stipend for their participation. Sides will be provided at the auditions.
