Announcing auditions for the workshop and debut concert performances of Tynged, a new musical comedy by Bay City, MI native Ryan Sequin.

Auditions will be held at Bay City Players, 1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City.
Performance dates are September 23rd & 24th, 2016

12 men and women to play ensemble roles
Adapted from a medieval Welsh folktale, the story follows a royal family torn by their individual desires to ascend to the throne. At the heart of their turmoil is atynged, or series of curses, that prevents the current heir from inheriting the crown. Despite this distraction of power, the revelation of secrets, and a little wayward magic, is it possible for the family to remain together?
Cast will perform in debut concert productions of this exciting new work. During the workshop preceding these performances, cast will also be encouraged to participate in the creative development of the show as final adjustments are made prior to production.
Those auditioning will be asked to sing a verse and chorus from a song of their choosing and to read selections from the script. Audition songs should be from the contemporary musical theatre repertoire. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. Selections from the script will not be made available prior to audition dates. Workshop schedule will be available at auditions.
