Auditions: 12 Angry Men
Vineland, NJ, 11/16/2015: Auditions for Twelve Angry Men, Cumberland Players 70th season opener, will be on Sunday, December 6th and Monday, December 7th. Auditions will be held at the Cumberland Players Theater, Sherman Ave and the Blvd, Vineland. Doors will open at 7:00 PM with auditions to begin at 7:30 PM.
Callbacks will be on Monday, December 7th after final auditions. The director is looking for men between the ages of 20 to 60 for this production. Auditions will be cold readings from the script.
Twelve Angry Men is a play by Reginald Rose adapted from his 1954 teleplay of the same title. The play is set in a New York City Court of Law jury room in 1957. A blistering character study and an examination of the American melting pot and the judicial system that keeps it in check, Twelve Angry Men holds at its core a deeply patriotic faith in the U.S. legal system.
Performance dates: February 26, 27, March 4, 5 at 8pm and February 28 at 2pm.
