CityRep will hold auditions for THE GRAPES OF WRATH and VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE on Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th with call backs on Sunday April 13th, 2014.
THE GRAPES OF WRATH will be directed by Harry Parker.
The role of Ma Joad will be played by Pam Dougherty. The Narrator will be played by Sonny Franks andJim Casey will be played by Jonathan Beck Reed.
All other roles still to be cast.
THE GRAPES OF WRATH is a co-production with Oklahoma City University's TheatreOCU and The Oklahoma History Center.
Young adult roles will be cast from TheatreOCU student body.

Rehearsals begin Thursday, August 14th, 2014
Performances run September 26th through October 5th, 2014.
VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE will be directed by Michael Jones. The role of Masha will be played by Stacey Logan . The role of Vanya will be played Shawn Churchman. We are casting the roles of Spike, Sonia, Nina, and Cassandra.
Rehearsals begin the week of October 6th, 2014
Performances run from November 14th through November 23rd, 2014
Sonia is in her early 50's, she has stayed at home to care for her aging parents and now feels like life has passed her by. Spike is Masha's boy toy, in his twenties or early thirties, exceptionally physically fit and not at all shy to show off. Nina is an all American girl in her twenties. Cassandra is the cleaning lady who has special powers, including seeing the future and voodoo.
For THE GRAPES OF WRATH please prepare a one-minute contemporary dramatic monologue. For VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, please prepare a one-minute contemporary comic monologue. If you want to be considered for both, prepare both a dramatic and a comic monologue. You may not be asked to perform both. Please bring 3 copies of your headshot and resume`.
Friday, April 11th from 7:30pm to 11:00pm is for all Union and non-union actors in the community.
Saturday, April 12th from 10am to 5pm is for OCU Students.
Sunday, April 13, from 10am to 5pm will be for callbacks for both shows.
The auditions will take place in the Black Box Theatre in the Wanda L. Bass School of Music on the Oklahoma City University Campus
