Plot Summary:

Get ready to laugh, cry and fall in love with lyrics that are heartbreakingly true and music that captures the soaring emotions of a new generation with Side by Side by Sondheim. Simple and unpretentious, this Tony Award-winning musical is a perfect introduction to the work of this contemporary master and a must for diehard fans.

Dates and times will vary depending on the cast
But generally run Monday - Thursday 7pm -10 pm and Saturday Mornings 10am -2pm

Requirements:
Please prepare 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre piece. An accompanist will be provided but you must bring sheet music – clearly marked with your start and end places. Please - no acapella singing.
This is a revue written to celebrate the music of Stephen Sondheim. Sondheim’s music is funny, challenging and immensely rewarding. We will be looking for male and female voices, of various ages. It is more important that we find people who can create a character and tell the story of the song than people who just make a beautiful sound. There is also a part for a narrator although this may be played by several members of the cast.
