Singers - a list of songs can be obtained by emailing thenewworldtheatercompany@gmail.com . Looking for unique distinctive diverse styles. Please only send in videos singing those songs that are available on the list. A cappella or accompaniment are both acceptable. (Male) Searching for the James Ingram, Al B. Sure, El DeBarge, Barry White, Michael Jackson sound. Must be able to hold tight harmonies (Female) Searching for early Aretha Franklin, Tamia, Lesley Gore,Patti Austin and solid gospel belters. Must be able to hold tight harmonies (Youth) Tevin Campbell, Brandy style Musicians - Looking for Trumpets (Flugel), Trombones, Sax (Tenor, Alto, and a potential double as flute/clarinet), Flutes (double as piccolo), piano players, drummers, percussionist. Must provide own instruments for the show. Please make your instrument the primary instrument heard in your recording. All levels are encouraged to audition. What to bring: Need a group of performers that not only like to perform but can really dive into telling a story through song and dance.
