PRINCESS IDA - Admiral Kittypants Non Equity Auditions

Admiral Kittypants Presents announces auditions for a staged reading of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Princess Ida. Directed by Liz Adams. Music directed by Micha Goolsby.

Auditions will be held by appointment on March 27th, 6-9 pm, & 29th, 11am – 4pm at Responsible Grace Church. Call backs will be held March 30th. Call back location TBA. Please prepare up to 32 bars of a song in the style of Gilbert & Sullivan or classic musical theatre genre and a 1 minute comedic monologue. Actors may read from the script if they do not have a prepared monologue. Bring a resume and headshot.

Cross-casting will be considered for the leading and supporting roles. The role of Princess Ida has been cast.

Rehearsals will start in April and will be scheduled approximately twice a week. Performances will run May 30 at 8pm & May 31 at 2pm, 2014 at Responsible Grace Church in Davis Square, Somerville.

This is an unpaid gig.
