Performance Network Theatre Holds General Auditions for 2014 - 2015 Season

Performance Network Theatre will be hosting its general auditions for the 2014-2015 season on May 5 - 6 from 10am - 6pm at Performance Network Theatre. Timeslots will be five minutes long, with the first five slots of every hour reserved for AEA/SAG members. There will also be a piano accompanist available for those who wish to audition for our musical on May 6 from 12pm - 4:30pm. Those who are interested in scheduling an audition appointment or have any questions may call the box office at 734.663.0681.

Auditionees will need to have two contrasting monologues that total no more than 3 minutes long. Participants may also substitute out one monologue for a song no more than 16 bars long, which still must be, cumulatively, no more than 3 minutes in length. Participants should also bring a headshot, as well as a copy of their résumé. If an auditionee interested in auditioning for the musical, but cannot attend any timeslots with the provided accompanist, they must bring their own. Audition evaluators will include Managing Director Erin Sabo, Artistic Director David Wolber, and Associate Artistic Director Carla Milarch. Callbacks will be made at a future date.

Performance Network Theatre will be casting roles for the following productions for the 2014-2015 season: Chesapeake by Lee Blessing, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike by Christopher Durang, The How and the Why by Sarah Treem, “Master Harold”...and the Boys by Athol Fugard, Irrational by R. Mackenzie Lewis and David Wells, Grounded by George Brant, and Pulp by Joseph Zettelmaier. More information regarding these shows and the season schedule will be announced in the near future.
