FOR NON-EQUITY AND EQUITY PERFORMERS

Saturday, January 12 in Madison, CT

Madison Lyric Stage, a professional company now entering its eighth season serving the Connecticut Shoreline and its neighboring communities, will hold auditions for its 2019 season on Saturday, January 12 in Madison, CT from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., with callbacks on Sunday, January 13.

The company is looking for singers and actors for its planned productions of the opera Of Mice and Men in June, the musical Cabaret in July, and a young artist production of the opera Hansel and Gretel in October.

Madison Lyric Stage will be seeing both non-union and union performers, and will offer a limited number of Actors Equity Special Appearance contracts for selected roles.

Compensation is available for some non-union performers depending on experience.

Auditions are by appointment only. Exact time and location of the audition will be provided. To be considered for an audition, please email your photo and resume to

Please prepare a song or aria, and/or a 1-2 minute monologue. Selections from planned shows are welcome. If you are auditioning for more than one genre, you may have two musical selections. An accompanist will be provided.
