MEN, WOMEN & RED-HAIRED GIRLS (8-11) NEEDED TO AUDITION FOR LEDDY’S SUMMER BROADWAY MUSICAL!!


Director Elaine Gatchell will be holding a second day of auditions for Leddy's summer Broadway musical on Saturday, February 25, 2017 especially for men, women and red-haired girls age 8-11!! A well-behaved dog is also needed!!!

Our July production cannot be announced as this great family Broadway musical is on National Tour. We can tell you, however, that it's America’s Favorite Family Musical and that we need red haired girls age 8-11 plus men and women for the many great speaking, singing, and dancing parts that are available!! This is a major musical with both child and adult leads and many important roles for men and women including the chorus! Chorus members play several very active roles throughout the show.

Everyone interested in auditioning for one of the wonderful parts in this timeless musical should be prepared to sing a song according to their chosen part as follows. (Examples of all songs can be found on YouTube.)

Girls, age 7-11…. “Maybe”

Leads ….. “Easy Street”

Chorus …. “I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here” OR “We’d Like To Thank You Herbert Hoover”

Call the boxoffice at 603-679-2781, Monday through Friday BETWEEN THE HOURS of 3:00pm and 5:30pm to make your audition appointment!

Please bring a headshot and a prepared song from the list above to sing and act out. Auditions are being held at Leddy Center theater on Ladd’s Lane in Epping, NH. We begin rehearsals on April 30, and rehearsals are Sunday afternoons at1:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. Shows are July 7 – July 23, Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30pm and Sundays and Wednesdays afternoons July 13 and July 20 at 2:00pm.
