AUDITIONS

INTO THE WOODS

WHAT: The Windham Theatre Guild will hold Open Auditions for their summer musical production of Into The Woods.

WHEN & WHERE: Wednesday, April 15th at 7 pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre,

779 Main Street, Willimantic. NEEDED: There is no ensemble/chorus in this cast, only featured roles. All singing parts include very difficult music. You must be able to sing well, read music well, and be able to practice/learn your part at home on your own. We are looking for talented people ages 16 and up to bring this musical to life. Please prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre piece, appropriate to the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided but please be prepared to sing the prepared piece a capella. No movement audition is required. Sides will be available for cold reading.

If you are not available to attend the audition on April 15th, video submissions will be accepted. Please go to
www.windhamtheatreguild.org for online submission requirements.While online submissions will be treated equally for consideration, in-person auditions are preferred. Once posted, submit all uploaded video links to
brandonnichols55@gmail.com with an attached theatrical history statement or resume. Second round auditions will be held in mid-May and rehearsals will begin thereafterDIRECTOR: Brandon Nichols
