WSRep, now in it’s 5th season, is a nonprofit theatre located in the heart of the US about 50 minNorth of Chicago in the wonderful town of Crystal Lake, Illinois. WSR is dedicated to its mission totell diverse stories with a Repertory model of production that adds to the cultural richness of thecommunity and our region. WSR is now casting for its upcoming 2015-2016 Season.

Mama Rose, the quintessential stage mother, is determined that her younger daughter June will have a successful vaudeville career. But times are changing & after June elopes, Mama turns her attention to her older daughter, Louise. The rise of burlesque is upon them & nothing will ever be the same again for Madame Rose.
Looking for young men with tap dance experience.

Having had their singing careers cut tragically short in a fatal accident en route to a show, Frankie, Sparky, Jinx and Smudge mysteriously return to Earth. At first they aren’t sure why they’ve returned, but a phone call from the heavenly Rosemary Clooney lets the boys know that they’re needed to put a little harmony into a discordant world and set things right.

Audition Requirements:
-Please prepare 16-32 bars of your song of choice (an accompanist will be provided for you) and 1 monologue (2 minutes max in length) OR 2 contrasting monologues (4 minutes in total).
-Please bring your Song Book in the event you’re asked to sing something else.
-Please bring two copies of your headshot and resume.
All roles paid. Equity Contracts available.
