Devonshire Playhouse is seeking actors ages 12-17 for a teen production of Bye Bye Birdie. Bye Bye Birdie is a musical theatre classic and a satire done with the fondest affection. It tells the story of a rock and roll singer who is about to be inducted into the army. This show is non-Equity, no pay.
Walk-in Auditions: Tuesday, January 7th from 8-9:30pm and Wednesday, January 8th from 7-9pm at Devonshire Cultural Center, 4400 Greenwood Ave, Skokie Callbacks: Thursday January 9th from 6-9 and are invitation only.
Material to Prepare: Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song and bring sheet music. Please dress comfortably for a short dance combination.
Time Commitment: Rehearsals are primarily Sunday afternoons, Monday and Wednesday evenings from Jan- early April. Performances are: April 6/13 at 7pm and April 7/14 at 3pm at Devonshire Cultural Center
