EXIT 82 THEATRE COMPANY TO HOLD AUDITIONS FOR BE MORE CHILL

Exit 82 Theatre Company will hold open auditions for BE MORE CHILL on August 30th, 7pm - 9pm, August 31st, 7pm - 9pm and September 2nd, 10am - 12pm. Auditions take place at the Exit 82 studio: 34 Main St, Toms River, NJ 08753. Auditioners must be 17 years old at the time of auditions and are asked to bring a headshot/resume and prepare 16 - 32 bars of a contemporary pop/rock/musical theatre song. A limited number of AEA contracts are available.

BE MORE CHILL is a contemporary musical which follows Jeremy Heere, just an average teenager. That is, until he finds out about “The Squip” – a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most: a date with Christine, an invite to the raddest party of the year and a chance to survive life in his suburban New Jersey high school. But is being the most popular guy in school worth the risk? BE MORE CHILL is based on the novel by Ned Vizzini.

The world premiere production of BE MORE CHILL was commissioned and originally produced by Two River Theater Company in Red Bank, NJ; John Dias, Artistic Director / Michael Hurst, Managing Director. Performances run one week only; Thursday, November 9th at 7pm, Friday, November 10th at 8pm, Saturday, November 11th at 2pm and 8pm and Sunday, November 12th at 2pm. All performances are held at the Strand Center for the Arts in downtown Lakewood, NJ. Tickets on sale now at
